Do I need to worry about sales or value added taxes?

Jeff Montgomery -

OneBookShelf is the seller-of-record for all sales on the marketplace. We charge and collect sales tax from customers in all areas where we have a nexus (for example, we have employees in the US State of Georgia so we charge and collect sales tax from customers in that state).

The earnings on sales sent to publishers is normally treated like royalty income. You, as the publisher, are not the seller-of-record and normally do not have to worry about sales taxes.
